For more than 15 years Eric Allen Kauk has helped diocesan CFOs and finance officers become heroes by providing practical tax & benefits solutions that can be implemented in the most challenging diocesan settings, with minimal disruption.

Mr. Kauk holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master's of Accountancy, a Law degree, and an advanced Law degree (LL.M.) in Tax & Benefits from Georgetown University. He holds numerous certifications and designations in ERISA, Church benefit plans, and compliance. Mr Kauk is a regular contributor to the Harvard Law & Policy Review, has been published in scholarly law reviews and journals numerous times. He has presented at conferences and trade meetings for more than a decade and works hard to make his presentations fun and memorable. Mr. Kauk is the founder of Catholic Benefits Law, the official benefits counsel advising both the Catholic Benefits Association and the National Catholic Bioethics Center.

Having advised dioceses and Archdioceses across the country on Healthcare trusts, self-funded health plans, employee lawsuits, priest pensions, bankruptcy issues, how to manage new laws and federal regulations, and helping dioceses file more than $130M in ERTC claims, Mr. Kauk has faced myriad challenges, won hundreds of tax & benefits battles, and proactively prevented thousands of problems for Diocesan CFOs.
