Jenny Hubbard offers her hard-won wisdom and example of standing strong in the struggle to audiences across the country. Jenny’s daughter Catherine was one of the 1st grade victims lost in the 2012 tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary.

Jenny is President and CEO of the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary. Under Jenny’s leadership the sanctuary has become a national model for building human empathy. Jenny is also a writer and author. Her book, Finding Sanctuary, was named 2022’s #1 Memoir by Catholic Associated Media. Jenny is a regular contributor to Magnificat and Aletetia and whose sanctuary blog attracts over 25,000 readers. She is the recipient of three Catholic Press Association awards and whose participation in faith-based and mainstream media projects focused on suffering, forgiveness and healing have reached EWTN, BBC and national audiences.

Jenny is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Communications and was awarded the Alumni Achievement Award in 2021.
