BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Duties include the management and hands-on all-encompassing accounting, reporting, finance, grant writing, and general insurance for the Diocese of Cheyenne. Greatest accomplishment is assisting the diocese in its current capital campaign that is looking to be 4 to 5 times greater than the diocese had ever done, encompassing all major Wyoming Catholic entities.
BRIEFLY DESCRIBE YOUR BACKGROUND PRIOR TO WORKING FOR THE (ARCH)DIOCESE:
A combined 30 years of extensive, all-encompassing and varied financial, accounting, administrative and operational management in both small and large corporations, highlighted by a 25-year career in the organic agriculture industry in Colorado including financial management of over 20 thousand acres.
ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION:
A St. Libory, Nebraska, diversified-family-farm-native, Dan is married to his high school sweetheart, Leslie, and they have three adult daughters, all of whom are married and starting families of their own. Dan’s favorite pastime is anything family related, but he finds family time extra special when combined with hiking, yard games, card games, and college sports.
