A mission-driven investment consultant with over 12 years of experience, Jonathan Swanson combines his knowledge in alpha generative and private capital strategies with a diverse set of portfolio construction skills to assist his clients in achieving their mission. As one of the Lead Consultants of the Des Moines Graystone Consulting team, in charge of client management and business development, Jonathan serves the needs of higher education organizations, faith-based institutions and social service non-profits.
Prior to joining Graystone – Jonathan enjoyed a career on Wall Street in New York, NY. He started his career in the capital markets division of the late investment bank, Bear Stearns & Co. After Bear, Jonathan joined a $6bn hedge fund and private capital investment business (Titan Advisors) as a Senior Research Associate. Jonathan sat as a member of the firm’s eight-person manager selection committee.

Finally, Jonathan is a member of the Investment Committee at Youth Standing Strong (YSS), an organization that provides mental and behavioral health services for youth and their families
