Born in Costa Rica, Jorge Montenegro has built a distinguished professional career spanning professional services, multinational corporations, and nonprofit leadership. His early career includes experience with KPMG, Procter & Gamble, and Mission Foods, where he developed a strong foundation in finance, audit, and business operations.
Jorge dedicated 10 years to the Diocese of Fort Worth, serving as Internal Auditor and Controller, followed by 6 years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Diocese of San Bernardino.
He holds a bachelor’s degree and Licentiate in Accounting from the University of Costa Rica, as well as an MBA in Finance from the Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Dallas. Jorge is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Costa Rica and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), credentials that reflect his commitment to financial integrity, accountability, and professional excellence.
